Good work man! ... really pro job; can't see any evidence of where the centre bars used to be ... but IMHO you've definitely got to de-bar the middle grille and put the same mesh in as the side grilles ... then it'd look spot on!

Yeah i know it would look good. I have the mesh it's from a 2002 Golf R32. Lots of cutting but i think it looks good. As for not being able to see where the middle bar was its all down to how much time you want to spend on it. They took about 1.5 hours each to cut out and fibreglass and fill. My mate sprayed them in his paint shop. With all the filler and painting it cost around £40.00 for the pair :)

Only £40??? That's a f*cking bargain! Hurry up and do the middle one ... !

Just IMHO again but i reckon it'd look better if you got a smaller number plate that didn't block out the edge of the top part of the middle grille .... the more black grille on show the better!!! Just my 0.0002c ...

Julian, I changed the ad, because the car looked NAF! So now Ive managed to find as similar to the RS4 style middle grill mesh as possible and edited the post to link to that ad.

It does look good. I hope its not flimsy though.

I might have a bash at the mod and do the work myself. Fibreglass of that amount costs nought, and everyone has filler. I just think it will take time getting it right.

Im tempted to do the middle section as well.

My cars black so a little easier to spray the side inserts after cutting out the middle bars and applying filler. .
