Personally I can vouch for good old T-CUT. I've used it for over 20 years on everything from motocross plastics, or re-sprayed cars where the paint has gone a little cloudy or orange peel effect to quite bad scratches on my girlfriend's year old Fiesta.

Never fails to give consistent results you just have to rub the T-CUT in for a good bit then remove by polishing off. Inspect how much paint you have removed by the reduction in the depth of the scratch then decide whether you have removed some more. But be careful today’s modern two pack paints are very thin. You don't really have much thickness of paint to remove before your through the clear lacquer and onto the base colour!
