Days till RS4 upgrade news!!!!!!!...

....days till Audi Manager returns from Germany with news of RS4 upgrades............. T-Minus 10 days..............(30th)

im a really impatient dude too.........

If you could choose one upgrade for your RS4 what would it be???????

dont know! with the performance as it is as standard and after watching Norrs2 getting an RS6 caliper and B7 disc and pad change I think this would be a good place to start... no point making it go faster if you cant stop it in time!!

Obviously not driven a b7 then. .......... think you will find it is one of the parts of the car that work fine straight out of the box unlike the B5....

nope!! only sat in a few... need to find a kind person to give me a wee ride in a B7.... 7 years more brake development on top of the B5 as well remember. Is the B7 calipers 8 pot as well as the RS6?

Yes, the B7 calipers are 8 pots like the RS6.

I spoke to my Audi dealer last week and he knew nothing of this. I hope it is genuine upgrade's your mate is going for and not some other routine type service work.

I also spoke to my dealer, who had just returned from Germany on the R8 visit and he wasn't aware.

Interesting. There is definitely an ECU update as my car has just had it. The dealer though doesn't know what it's for, but equally has positioned it as a "you are lucky to have this . . . type update without paying for it as a retro fit". I am picking the car back up tomorrow so I'll let you guys know more then. I guess Audi had to respond to the M3 challenge. More power is always a good thing in my books having traded from the 507BHP M5.

what i do need is details of ss+ ok harder /lower springs but what r the suspesion adjustments? and part numbers

Does anyone know any staff at Audi UK that might know about this upgrade? My car is one of the first Avants, can anyone list all the recalls and software upgrades the RS4 avant should of had as mine has not had anything changed as yet?

No official information from Quattro GmbH about any performance upgrades ... maybe only an Audi release for an already tested-by-Quattro-setup which couldnt get it for the final production yet? We need 3 things to get a faster RS4:
- Air intake cooler with more volume
- Exhaust with some more diameter
- Adjusted software parameters to use those benefits

I try to get below 4kg/PS with my Avant
