Yes, I'm very pleased with it. No regrets at all. The only thing I wished i'd ordered was the Homelink as I've now got an electric garage door, but I see you've got that covered already. Some days I wonder if I should have gone with the bucket seats but I'm happy with what I have.
Cheers,

There is one issue I'm confused about and that is the Memory seats or lack of them. I'm sure I have seen RS4's (B7) advertised with memory seats but the salesman assured me that they were not available, I just accepted it thinking that I must had been mistaken, it does bug me though because I don't know where I picked that information up from. I would be very pi$$ed off if getting the car I then found out that they were available. Is it an Avant/Saloon thing and not available on the Cab maybe?

Yeah, there is some confusion over the memory seats, I've not seen them available in the UK.

It is possible, just a bit fiddly - happy to elaborate if anyone wants to order them...

Sure - from an earlier post of mine
SPECIAL ORDER FACTORY OPTION
Drivers Seat with Memory 3L4
Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror PU9
Door Mirrors Heated - Auto Dimming - With Memory in Standard RS4 Design 6XM

Very important to stress the Standard RS4 Design part otherwise you would get the folding mirrors from the S4

All up a reasonable £600 - that's £400 on top of the basic price for the auto-dim. I checked and light & rain are still included

I've got a contact name in product marketing for this one. If anyone needs it, PM me
Now if you're talking about the Cab, you wouldn't have the added complication of getting the mirrors in the "non folding" design, as they are standard for the model

Oh, that's odd I didn't realise you could get the RS4 mirrors for the cab either.

Sorry - maybe my last bit wasn't clear

When they install Memory on the Saloon / Avant, it comes hand in hand with the folding S4 mirrors (the ones that are standard on the Cab) - so if you want the original RS4 mirrors kept on then you have to specify

I'm not saying you can have the RS4 mirrors on the Cab, just that you don't have to worry about them being taken away cos they're not there in the first place...

I phoned the dealer today to see if I could get the memory seat put on (quoting those codes - thanks Dom81) and so he has faxed to Audi to find out so I guess I'll find out next week sometime. While I was on the phone he gave me a build date of week 20 which is sooner than I had thought, allow for a couple of weeks for shipment and PDI check so at the moment it looks like an end of May delivery.

Good luck - I fear that once you have a build date (no matter how far in advance) they won't allow any changes to the spec

That's what I thought too but if it is too late then no matter, it would have been nice to have had it but not essential.

Hi Graham,

Looks loke the concourse at the annual tt meet is going to be without both of us this year. See you in the "other marques" car park. I hope May passes by very quickly for you.

Hi Mark,
Yeah, we can be the Billy no mates in the 'Unclean' car park

It's going to be very strange this year to actually see the all the stands and have a good wonder and chat rather than just clean and de-dust the car every five minutes.

I hope May passes soon too, what started to be a shall I - shant I, has turned out to be 'I just want it now'.

Graham
