[quote="S2tuner"]I've heard the video showed 202mph for a split second, quote]

202mph is 202mph even for a split second...

Whilst driving in Germany we found a front bumper in the road at 140mph and just missed it...

At 202mph a swerve or hitting anything will KILL..

Respect to the guys in the car..

I don't want to sound wrong here but after seeing some of the Clubs / Associations which turn up for these events - it does put a question to how many cars Actually turn up, I know some people have change in plans of car problems but it would be nice to see 10 - 12 cars all together from the forum.

Perhaps we should get dates sorted early in order to allow more people to plan ahead.

just a thought.

once you've ring'd you'll be a ringer for life. Good on you chaps and good to see that all returned from Green Hell safely. I'm planning a trip for later in the year, but prob fly there and have the racing car transported there.

Couldn't agree more...

All other tracks are easy and short, I haven't been around the Ring that many times and am not that quick there, but its the best driving experiance I've ever had...

Add to that I'm 500 miles from home so if something does go wrong its no tow from your mates to get you home...

It's always difficult to put into words, but if you have flown down into the Grand Canyon, or jumped out of a plane on your own, you will understand that words cannot describe the feeling -

But if you like fast cars and good driving, this is a place you must go at least once - because if you don't it will be gone. (There have been people trying to close it for 15 years - one day they will win).

Big thanks to Neckarsulm for taking me on a memorable road trip, it was great fun exploring Nurburg and the surrounding areas.
The trip was made all the more entertaining with Ash318 who accompanied us in convoy with his mate John as his co pilot (co pillock!?).
Met some of the chaps at the Pissed-up-Klaus and had a brief chat too, hope you enjoyed the evenings shennanigans . . .

Watching the VLN race on Saturday was awesome, saw and heard some menacing Audi's and Porkers and the last day seeing test cars in their camo' gear was unbeleivable!

I'm still working on the pix, when they're done I'll post them on my gallery over the next few days.

Can't wait to go again!

Fantastic weekend, thanks everyone, especially Jeff & John for driving us around.

So many highlights really, the weather, the lap times :) the food, the ride in the RS4 (feck me). How quiet was the track ?

I think we should arrange another one for Sept / Oct ?
