Tired S3 suspension .....

Hi

I've a 2001 S3. I brought this in 2003 at 19k miles, and now it is on 66k miles.

Recently I have noticed that the ride seems a little sloppy, and under hard acceleration it seems to 'wheelie' I'm very disappointed that this has happened with only 66k on the clock, and it has had a very easy life sat in traffic most of the time, no track days etc.

Any ideas?

On the last MOT, it was mentioned that the lower wish bone bushes are cracked, would this be anything to do with it?

If the shocks are tired, will adding coilovers make things worse?

One thing you might want to consider is keeping the back seats up and save on stationary suspension wear that way,

I'd say get the bushes replaced and see what sort of differance that makes then look at new springs etc
