Can't put it back in Ol - i mangled it taking it out (couldn't get the flow straightener off so had to snip it out from the other end of the MAF housing).

IIRC h8cak took his out in one piece - see if he is willing to put it back in and do the tests......

Q E fuckin' D

Put the mesh back in??? Not a chance mate!!
Didn't realise your tinkering had reliable measurements to back them up Julian! Sounds like I was hitting a nerve or went to far, should have said, I was just playing, thought you were too.

That is a quick time, I must try harder......Mind you had a quick time before your de-mesh etc mods too!

Wow - this post is a blast from the past Graham!

Hopefully will be getting the RS4 i/c's and Walbro fuel pump fitted on Thursday (was meant to be today but Doug couldn't schedule me in) - so will ask him if he'll record some vag-com logs for me when he is tweaking my map: i'm hoping for some really good times/numbers after all the work i've had done recently ...

Just started reading up on FATS, logging etc. Seems I'm hooked on the power bug and having had a day with a few hours with a VAGCOM I can see the interest and benefits.....

 you're on the way though Mark - what with your 'tweaked' N75, N249 delete, de-fogged grilles, de-meshed MAF, 'holey' airbox .... I can feel the dark side is drawing you in ....

The good thing is that you stated your car felt a lot better to drive after you'd done all these little mods - as did mine. I think they make a good difference in a cumulative way ...

The Ko3 hybrids might happen. It will depend if and when the current ones go pop and which way the wind is blowing at the time...

I'm just going to stick with Stage2-Max. More tweaking to be had out of that yet
