Just get the failed one fixed for now, and get your car booked in for another visit next week.
You'll find that after repressuring the system, the other one will have failed by then !
This is how I had to replace the whole system on mine, as warranty claims only specifically cover the failed item.
Inconveniant, but free ;)

Hmm, seems to me that it might be best to arrange some sort of "deal" with the warranty company re them recinding any cover of the DRC.

Bin the DRC and go with a Bilstein coil over set up, thats what I intend to do - i'll only have to worry about the Gearbox and Turbo's then :o

morsimon, I would rely on the discussions I am having. I wouldn't expect a decision for at least a few weeks.

I've been back in touch with Audi UK to try and move this along. Needless to say that a poll showing 77% failure on cars does help to drive home the fact that there are serious issues.

Collected the car this afternoon; 100% full brand spanking DRC set-up, certainly a significant improvement in all things RS6 and it was good to have the car back (even had time for an amusing challenge off the lights by an Astra VXR, fair play to him, he tried hard). Have not been on any challenging roads yet, but just the journey home was a noticeable difference in quality of ride over our less than perfect tarmac roads. I had not noticed the rattles and vibes that had progressively crepped into everyday driving, until I drove the car away from the dealer and it all sounded like an Audi should do.

Ride height is a touch higher than before, but I'm not surprised (particularly given previous posts on this and other forums), the perception is not aided by the fact that it was running very low when it went in, had even had comments "have you had it lowered?", which I assume was in part to the "failed" suspension. Techie reckons that the new will bed down marginally over the next few weeks as the springs and dampers settle into harmony with each other, but no adjustments are required to be made and it looks good to me.

To put the icing on the cake, there was no bill to pay when I collected the car... Which was nice!

Phil, for the record whilst I was in York Audi just over 2 weeks ago having a new windscreen fitted there was a rather nice Black RS6 saloon (not sure if its one of us RS246 contributing dudes) having a few grands worth of DRC/Suspension work done!!! :?

Car went in for a basic check and oil change as I've got some heavy driving coming up.

Got a call today to say the RNS damper's leaking.

As a reminder, this was the new one that was fitted less than 800 miles ago.

Also the other 3 shocks are also leaking, plus something else to do with the DRC.

Also the added 2 oil leaks, (cam belt covers i think plus another)

This DRC CRAP really needs to be sorted by Audi, I think the "TT shop" (?) can fit after markets for £1500 ish but why should we pay for Audi's mistake.

Really thinking about selling it and getting something else, driving it for the last few month or two great till you get to a rough road or a bump on a corner, then again you're reminded of the CRAP drc setup.

How's the "Audi V's RS6 owners" DRC debate going?

Savage, my suspension appears to have bedded in nicely and settled about 3/4 inch. Feels a lot better, its unfortunate that you should have to drive in fear that it may go again... fingers crossed!

Grizz - Please report back on the accelerator vibrations with the aftermarket setup.
Phil (me) - Contact Audi (again) and remind them that we'd prefer cars that manage more than 2000 miles before they go back to the dealers for the same problem :(
