I'm in the Alps, Morzine to be exact. Have no idea where Mihnea is staying? Wanting a remap though! :)

i have just fitted mine this afternoon. Took me 2 hours from jacking the car up to putting the tools away. Doug at MRC recomended to get new rear drop links due to nut on the ball joint being an arse to get off. I just replaced them with OEM ones ( about £75 from stealers prob cheaper through vag parts). Was a good job as well as both nuts seized on to the ball joints of the orignals and they weren't budging. Front drop links will be fine, god damn that front bar isn't half heavy when under the car by yourself thankfully all done now though.

Thanks, i reckon a garage should have it covered in an hour then, assuming 2 people with access to a hoist.

Anyone have the part number for those rear Drop Links? 2000 Avant.

Drop link part numbers are what i used on my 2000 saloon would have thought they would be the same as the avant
8D0 505 465
8D0 505 466

Would strongly recommend getting replacement nuts to fit the thread on the ball joint end as this will save the hassle taking the old drop links apart which is where the problems start.
