I ordered mine last Monday just gone and just received a build date today of the 29th April with Delivery, mid/late May, Hmmmm, we'll see...

Looked at buying a second hand one but for such a lovely car I just wanted it fully loaded and it's been a while since I bought a Brand New car, always second hand with a compromise.

Cheers

Had same problem but mine took over 1 year in total. However, Oxford Audi really looked after me. Gave me £3k worth of extras free and put me in a brand new S Line TDi with no limitations on mileage, full insurance and looked after me well.
Audi didn't seem to care, it was the dealer that shone, not the manufacturure.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Dealer has now offered me a 3.0TDi Q7 as a loaner until my RS4 arrives.

Seems only fair - and hopefully the fact that it's costing hime something will inspire him to do everything possible to get yours sorted ASAP.

Ever seen an Audi dealer go bust?

They are making more money than you would believe, take them for anything and everything you can.

Nice one - you'll have somehting to look forward to when you get back from your trip. If you're worried about it being left with the dealer for a week though I find I am in the UK for the foreseeable future and would always be happy to collect on your behalf!

Hanbury, funnily enough you're not the first person to offer to "run her in" while I'm away! If I'd had a quid for everytime someone had said that I'd have a free RS4 waiting for me when I get back :D

All I can say is that you're very luck to know so many people willing to help.

Cheers
