I'm thinking all the parts are too rare and so too expensive for this to be a go for me. I've looked at body kits also but that just wouldn't be the same

The rear bumper is nasty and the rear spoiler... not sure about the side skirts either

I would like to see the kit fitted on a more normal car.

Well her my conversion and there are loads of pic's of my car being built which I did most of it myself bar the welding of the rear quarters and painting.

Viper I gots to say your car looks hard as nails too

I read about your car in Audi Driver when I first got my car. But didn't realise just how good the car looked cuz there weren't that many pics of it. Whilst I was reading the article I felt sorry for the guy doing the conversion.

Docurley you aint getting credit from me on your car cuz I've credited it waaaaaaaay too much in the past

Mark, I guess if you have a *** estate already, and judging by the pics of Vipers car GO FOR IT DUDE

Just don't go the bodykit you found route. Will you get it re-sprayed in another colour too? Say - Nogaro

The bodykit I was looking at would have only been for the rear arches but I have to say I think it might be easier to do the welding route cutting and shuting some genuine rears.

I'm really not sure what way I'm going to go now. Even thought about selling the car today

I guess I was thinking if the car needs so many things changing on it to make it the car I want, would I be better choosing a better car to start with.

Don't worry, I soon came back to square one. The S4 is staying and will be getting more upgrades as time goes on. I pretty sure the RS4 Avant is out now I've seen so many cool pictures of widebody saloons. This is seriously on the cards now but I have a few other projects to finish first. Some more research is required yet anyway...

Mark - do your turbos, intercoolers and fuelling upgrade - believe me you'll get a great grin-per-pound return on your investment once it's all done, sorted and bedded-in

Yep RS4 doors with the Saloon frames, straight bolt in job, easy.

So, it looks like the only hard part is cutting and shutting the rear quarter panels, and getting the parts.
