Absolutley, even if we can't get a full day I 'd prefer to go on a day when I know some others.

Hmm the more I think the more this it looks good value. Some track type tuition, some fast road type tuition and somewhere slippy to push the car past it's adhesion in a controlled environemnt and perhaps gain some more control skill.

I've had a few laps of tuition at Bruntingthorpe and done the 3 hour skid pan course a Castle Coombe, this looks like a day of something between the two :D

Images borrowed from the web, I just want to get my non traction controlled S4 on that wet circle............

I'll probably call tomorrow and find out what dates are still available and how many places there are, but the dates listed as coming up are:

Monday 16 April

Tuesday 17 April

Monday 30 April

Tuesday 8 May

Monday 21 May

Tuesday 22 May

The only thing I am unsure of is the arrangement for vehicle insurance and could be a deciding factor for me but should find out soon.

Ok, why not do a training session with PlansMotorsport?

They are based at Dunsfold Airfeild and have access to the TopGear test track.

Theres a bit of classroom stuff first and then out onto the track (only you on there btw), at the end of the in-car stuff you get to do 6 or so timed laps
with all the dataloggers and cameras set up in the car (just like the Stig does). Cost is somewhere around the £200 mark which for 1-1 traing and to
get on teh TG track aint bad imho.

Too much is bad.
Plenty is better.

Wow, this sounds great. I have done a fair few trackdays and incorporated some in car tuition including a few laps at Goodwood With Ex touring car champ Anthony Reid and I quite fancy giving this a go if you dont mind a newbie tagging along if it happens.

Good spot Graham, I'm in too. We can arrange to attend as a group, perhaps even a group buy if the organiser is willing. Give me a shout and I'll assist as you see fit.
