I'm gutted I can't make this. Have a good time all.

We have the Mini Meet @ Janspeed next weekend so I can look forward to that. Anyone else is welcome to come to that also...

Have just put my track tyres on and changed my pads over to yellows and I must have popped 1 set in the other way round to last time cos they're squeaking like mad :bash:  Half and hour up and down the by-pass to bed them in a bit has helped but when I'm squeaking down the pit lane tomorrow you might just want to disown me and pretend you don't know me :boohoo: Too dark and too knackered now to swap them back
Sorry

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Ash and Geoff for taking me around for passenger laps.
Stephane, perhaps I'll get a chance to sit in the passenger seat another time.

Was good to meet up with fellow camera man Olie too, can't wait to see the DVD in a few weeks time : )

I'm going to tweak the photos I've taken later this evening and perhaps put them on the gallery here once I find out how to do it.

Thanks for a great day guys - despite my brief excursion into the kitty litter on lap 3... which I think at least amused Simon golf TT and Bakerdcb who witnessed the show!

Had a really good time, car performed brilliantly and think it surprised some of the more track-focused stuff. It was also good to put some faces to names and we were made to feel welcome by all.

Hope to see you all again at the 'Ring in April. :thumb:

I got chucked off twice because of noise - at least I got a shot of Simons car - rs4s are sooo smooth on track compared to ko4d S4s

Just another quick note to say nice to meet you guys, and girls, and see a fantastic arrange of different colour and spec Audi's.

Felt very envious at not being able to bring along my RS4, but it gave me a different view, not only of S4's and Rs4's but also the track (as I was usually sideways).

But it was nice to have a drive around with the roof down listening to my music...

I'm sure I said this a thousand times yesterday, but you don't realise just how quick they are.

When you drive one after a while it just becomes the norm.. quick but the norm - I didn't consider myself to be slow around the track in the 'S' but seeing the S4's and Rs4's go by and disappear of into the distance was absolutly brill :D

Looking forward to the Ring trip lads, I'll try and keep up this time.

Regards and respect,

R. :redrs4:

Ash - i didn't mean the s4s are unsmooth - I meant the rs4 has more of a linear power delivery(and biiger tyres) so it is easier to be smooth.

It was probablyy the best trackday I have been to for facilities, organisation, driving standards on track, and the chat in between. Can't wait for the next one.

Croft...April 28th (I think), usually a good turn out. Anyone up for it?
