DRC Survey
I must admit, before I had any DRC issues and my car was perfectly OK as such, I still felt vibes in the peddles on the rough stuff every now and then. So personally I would treat this as "normal" in so far as relatively firm suspension on the old A6 chassis. Or would you say I'm too lenient?

Personally, "vibes in the peddles" are all wrong so that makes you "too lenient"
number one, it can be off putting and why should you feel a knocking through the peddles of a £60k car (or the 30k i paid)
I was under the impression that the "Vibes" were the tell tell signs of things to come. (could be wrong though)

I've driven a couple of other RS6's and both had the same feel/vibes, thats what settled it for me personally as I was convinced before this forum that it was just me and that as you say, in an expensive car, you should'nt feel stuff like that. Nothings ever perfect in life and I would prefer more "feel" for the car and conditions than to be divorced from it, even if in some circumstances the feel is a slightly undesirable one.

Any update on this as I now have an issue myself !!! Audi are willing to replace NSR but wont do the pair and I am now in a dispute with them. Car is still under warranty and they said they would go 50-50 on replacing the paired one. My argument is why should I pay anything when it is under warranty and appears to be a regular fault on this vehicle.......
Are you talkng about Audi as a whole, or a particular dealer?
If one dealer says that as a minimum the opposite corners (or paired) should be replaced, then another dealer should have very good reason to say otherwise, no? I'd phone round and find one that does it properly Ie replaces the two opposite corners minimum, and then revert to the dealer in question and ask why they consider half the job as being suitable. In fact I'm sure there are dealers who have replaced the whole lot under warranty.
Anyway I'm sure others know better.

Thanks......
The 50-50 offer comes from Customer Services with whom I have raised the subject and I am very disappointed by their attitude when clearly this is a problem being encountered by a number of RS6 owners.
I thought this thread was suggesting the Audi customer Sevices were upping their act on this issue....
Any updates appreciated.

Now that's a worry!morsimon wrote:The 50-50 offer comes from Customer Services
Just goes to show, once your car gets to the 3 year old mark they lose interest.

That is indeed very worrying as 5 posts above this PhilT has already commenced dialogue with A-CS on this very subject! I know the dealership workshops like to keep busy but this ineptitude and ignorance towards the DRC component and system failures is of major concern to all RS6 owners even those who have not experienced this problem..yet!morsimon wrote:Thanks......

That is exactly what I have told them !! As it is under warranty I queried the logic of why I should be expected to pay anything as well. I pointed out to them that they will just have the car back again with a similar problem in a few weeks time. Their response was to refer me back to ACS. They have told me that the 50-50 offer from ACS was the best they could get - I have now called ACS manager 3 times this week and am still awaiting their callback. This is the bloody manager !! Their service stinks !!!! As you can see I am losing my cool over this.
ACS manager also denied that this is a regular fault on these cars when I originally spoke to them 2 weeks ago......
Hence the reason for my original question regarding any progress being made with ACS by others with this very annoying probem.
PS - this is the fourth time my car will have been in with DRC problems in the last 9 mos and the most recent was 6 weeks ago !!!!!!!
I am reaching the stage where Audi will lose a customer who has put a lot of money into their vehicles in recent years.
This is the only problem I have ever has with the car but it is not going away but my customer loyalty is going away.
