Think that's the same fault they found on mine this week. I'll find out tomorrow when i pick it up.

Looks like we're going through the same problems in the same time span.

Tyre pressure monitors, shocks, suspension arms, water through the passenger door.

What's the millage one yours Dave? Mines 50k ish (not seen it for what seems like weeks :( )

Mine's on 44K and it's due in next week for the wet footwell problem - though I don't think it's from the door seals this time - I suspect the AC unit drain has become disconnected.

What did they sting you for sorting the footwell problems??

Dave

Camberley Audi are a good bunch in my experience. Plus I know one of the main techs there Stuart, and can highly recommend him if you need any work doing and want to be sure you're baby is in good hands.

Such a change from Reading Audi :bash:

Well, other side of the coin, I went to Camberley Audi with a friend of mine for a Q7 test drive. He was left waiting even though pre booked but hey not the end of the world, so then we took the car for a test drive, mate loved it (it is very nice) - no one there to greet him when he came back (good sales technique?), no one on reception, so we left keys with a guy who was eating a sandwich in the showroom and they then never called him back to check this week how it went - so he just ordered one today from a completely different dealer.

Obviously this is the sales department which is a seperate site to after sales

Just wanted to add,

This is not the behavior of Camberley. Is it possible the sales person was new?

I find it strange, mind you, everyone has there bad days and I'm not feeling too well (Man cold) and just want to get home so customers aren't getting 100%. from me today. Thanks god it's quite.

If It's not to late Duncs3, get your mate to make a call because you will be looked after at camberley.

Funny thing is, I went to Guildford twice and spoke to two different sales persons and never once did they do any follow ups or anything, even though they said they would look into things for me.

Is this where your mates gone now (Guildford)?

I've not had much interaction with the sales dept, although what I have had has not been overly impressive. Then again I just can't bring myself to get rid of the 4 so it doesn't matter to me!

Must admit that one reason I didn't buy an Audi twice previously was the appaulling attitude of the Sales Dept when they were Whites back in the early 90's. First time they couldn't even be bothered to find me a brochure for the then new S2?? Three years later there was another new model, and they passed me off to the Regional Sales Manager to arrange a test drive as soon as the car arrived in the country, and inspite of chasing I was left to assume that the boat had sunk on the way!

Bought new Saab 9000 Carlsson/Aero both times - their sales people were superb including getting the only photo's of the soon to be released Aero from the Motor Show and mailing them to me as there were no publicity materials available at that stage. Net result I ordered without sight or drive of car - and was delighted!

All I can say, going back to Camberley Audi, is that the Sevice Dept rocks!! Perhaps your mate should buy elsewhere and then get the service and support from Camberley!

Off to Camberley Audi Monday morning for a oil change and fluid test/check

Also going to see if my f/o/s damper's started to leak (leek for Dave ;) )

Let's hope things go ok as I noticed on 3 occasions a smell of gearbox oil on the car after stopping and turning off engine.

I'm sure Tuesday I'll be singing Camberley's praises again.

Well, in less than on hour it's going to be Tuesday and I'm not too happy.

Car went in for a basic check and oil change as I've got some heavy driving coming up.

Got a call today to say the RNS damper's leaking.

As a reminder, this was the new one that was fitted less than 800 miles ago.

Also the other 3 shocks are also leaking, plus something else to do with the DRC.

Also the added 2 oil leaks, (cam belt covers i think plus another)

This DRC CRAP really needs to be sorted by Audi, I think the "TT shop" (?) can fit after markets for £1500 ish but why should we pay for Audi's mistake.

Really thinking about selling it and getting something else, driving it for the last few month or two great till you get to a rough road or a bump on a corner, then again you're reminded of the CRAP drc setup.

<rant over>

Still looking forward to the collection and driving home. ;)
