Blaupunkt_Travelpilot_DXR52

Hi,

I am looking to possibly buy a Blaupunkt_Travelpilot_DXR52 to put in another car that I own, however that car does not have a GALA feed (as it is 17 years old) and I believe that the Blaupunkt_Travelpilot_DXR52 needs this? Does anybody know if the Blaupunkt_Travelpilot_DXR52 needs a GALA feed or can you bypass this?

....just be conscious that when you drive faster to turn the stereo up - to compensate for extra road noise......

Thank you for your E-mail. Unfortunately the DX-R52 will not work without the Tacho/gala signal. There is no way round this except than using wheel sensors, which are not particularly reliable and difficult to fit and calibrate.
