Nice cars guys, especially the Santorini blue one (nice island too IIRC from going there many moons ago).

Just for your information, the paint code should also be on a sticker inside the spare wheel well. Mine is.

Thanks to all for nice comments again, I didn't post pics for this purpose, I just figured you may be curious to see what one looks like in this weird colour, but thanks anyway!
Mev - the exhaust is noisier than standard but the standard one is pretty much silent especially at idle but the Milltek burbles. I personally have a low threshold for boomy exhausts but this one is just the right balance, tuneful, not too boomy and quiet when cruising and it adds 8 bhp!
I think it is simply a cat back system.

Norrs2 - looks great, I remember a Santorini one was for sale back in the summer for £26k, was it yours? For some reason I thought it was called Azure Blue?!

Jarv, attached is a pic of my data sticker from spare wheel, I have blanked out the VIN (call me paranoid) but as you can see there is no paint code (usually L***/L*** on an Audi), alas 'NOS' doesn't mean what you think :)

BTW on removing tool kit I looked at my tyre repair fluid and the best before date was in 2003! Thankfully I had just acquired a Continental replacement with a date of 2011!

Nige, it doesn't appear to touch anything when hot but thanks for the tip. Here's a nice pic of two Milltek RS4's at Quarry Corner, Castle Combe.

Great photo. Judging by the lack of fog, I'd say that definitely wasn't last years ADI.

I though this one was yours Norrs2 as it has sunroof but I can't see what colour the interior is on this one. Also number plates look different, this one has (had?) Audi main dealer surrounds.

It was advertised in the classifieds on this site too. could it be the same one?

No neckarsulm, it's not mine. Mine is a 51 reg and has a silver leather interior, that one is black (I think). This does however confirm one thing to me - that makes 3 (out of the supposed 4) now spotted, because that one does not match the spec of the other one belonging to Desmo on here, as he says that his has a cream/cramel leather interior. Obviously, Desmo was told a porky when his dealer told him there were only 2. I wonder where the forth is?

PS My paint code IS in the service book!!!

Dealer told 2nd owner that mine was only one in UK, still no hard evidence on 2nd one apart from a spotting in N. Herts - mine had been on a cherished plate so could possibly be the same one but we shall see...

Paint code thing is odd - all i can think is that because denim blue wasnt a B5 colour they had to do something differently. It was used on TT from launch but that wasn't built in germany and first use in German plants I can think of was the B6 A4 built at Ingolstadt which came out just after my car was built (Dec 00 reg)
What other Audis use Santorini Blue Norrs2? Is it a B5 colour?

One thing I forgot to mention to you, I saw a Denim Blue for sale in Autotrader approx 18months - 2 years ago with a milege of 70k then. It was on Autotrader for quite a few weeks! So I can "assume" that it wasn't yours (yours has less miles than that now). So we can arguably state that there are at least 2 DB ones.
I remember this one clearly, as I was attracted to the colour then because I tought it was rare.

I only know of one other Audi (it was a TT) on e-bay last year that was SB and quoted as a non std, special order colour.

Well spotted austinpowers!
Interesting spec as it has a sunroof and Symphony like mine.
Seems cheap to me though that quarter work may be a pain, can you see the lense is missing a section too?
£250 for that plus lense and wheel refurb which is £250-£300, plus allowing for the hassle (lack of wheels for a few days can make life difficult!) , I'd say IMHO you'd be better off with a £20k car that didn't need the work.
I guess as it's on a Y reg, mine may have been the only one for a few months (registered Dec 2000) including time when 2nd owner took posession which was just before Y reg came out so the stealer he bought it from may have been telling the truth!
