Well … The garage I am using are good at their job, but very busy at the moment, BUT, saw the car yesterday, on the ramp and engine was about to be dropped, so, should have the turbos in my hand later today…
My thoughts where to send the turbos off to America to have them reconditioned and RS6 compressors put on, so, KO4/RS6 Hybrids, not actually RS6 turbo’s, because you do need new manifolds for the true RS6 turbos, and coupled with the cost of two new RS6 turbo as opposed to getting my “upgraded” was just not going to happen
On talking with MRC, I should be looking around 540 bhp with my setup, their FMIC and these hybrids.
I have to say I am a little interested in this other kit, I think, I might be looking as little as 2k difference, but that would probably grow to a lot more, so maybe just best to stick with getting my turbo’s upgraded …
Plus I have this hill climb event coming up at the end of April over here and REALLY want my car ready for that ....
Thoughts anyone???
