Probably because I'm the only bugger who's bought one.

Hello Dave :bigwave:
Don't worry, we'll pop in and see you from time to time...and bring you the odd bag of crisps and a glass of lemonade... :beerchug:

Seriously - how are you enjoying the car? (S6 that is)

Hi Clive,

Car's good. Still hanker after the RS4 but that time will come again.

The only real downside is the hard ride. Went to London at the weekend and on the motorways it's great, a real mile muncher. Show it some dodgy London back street and you really feel the bumps though, uncomfortably so sometimes. RS4 was much better.

The trim keeps coming off on the centre tunnel which is a bit annoying, wipers don't go fast enough in torrential rain (have to slow right down on the motoway, can't see anything) and the boot is not as big as it looks, which is strange. My wifes SAAB 9-5 estate boot is much bigger.

Fuel is a killer, 5.2's are not known for their economy I know but because I only live 1 mile from work it doesn't get warm on the daily commute, and consequently 160 miles to an 80 litre tank is not good. Thats half a litre a mile :( Long runs much, much better though, up into the early twenties mpg.

The main thing is though it goes really fast and thats all I care about

It's a fair point and one I ask myself, I guess being a lazy b*stard doesn't help.
