Health Check at MRC

Post by chalky » Wed Jan 24, 2007 6:58 pm

Nipped down to MRC to-day,

Had a word with Doug the other day about a few niggling issues and you know what its like when paranoia sets in, so after a brief chat i thought that the cheap health check would be money well spent and give me some peace of mind even if it did throw up some errors,

Good news all is OK, the paronia has subsided and i now know the MAF is not waining and taking with it two EGTs And LAMDAs,

The DVs were not holding pressure so had them replaced, quick run up the dual carriageway and was given the all clear, throttle response has improved and its not diving under now on changeing gear.

Nearly went for the re map while i was there but managed to hold off for i dont know how much longer,

Top bloke, i will be returning there again,

Cheers Doug,

MRC are Banbury. Click on the sponsored link at the top, or type 'MRC tuning' into a UK Google search

Doug had a look at mine this Saturday for a health check and to change the front v belt, I was very impressed with his place, his work and the price, I will definately use MRC again.

when funds permit we will be re-visiting for one of those "Health Spa's" oh and a remap up to 420bhp... or whatever it is. We had a free health check on the S2/MRC open day which was most kind of Doug and Mihnea and found one of the DV's was leaking so both where changed.

Oh those RS6 brake upgrade looks SERIOUSLY tempting as well.... just need the best part of 3k to do it all. :redrs4: :kissmyrings:
