well at 14 to the gallon i suppose the RS6 guys need to take every opportunity to cheer themselves up. lol

............and i still have no idea how much fuel the tank holds

Sorry. Not really answered you question.

I drove 2-3 miles with the computer saying I had "0" miles of petrol left, didn't think i had much left.

The RS6 has an 82 litre tank (A6 has 70 litres)

Looks like i still had a gallon left, that's at least another 10 miles

lol, it is cutting it a bit fine, i once managed 58 litres in the S4 and that's a 62 litre tank but i'd been showing 0 miles for the last 20 or so

5 litres to an RS6 is a mere splash!

I drove 10+ miles with "0 miles remaining" showing, but that's only because when I parked the car the day before it had said 15 miles to go... then the next day when I started the car some had obviously evaporated and it started off at "0 miles".

FFS! I am borrowed my mates S8 this weekend, it was just about to hit the red with 40 miles to go on the computer so I decided to full up ... 76 litres!!!! and that was not even an empty tank!!!

Glad I don't have to run this car on a daily basis!!! LOL!

How did you manage such bad MPG, saying that my mate in his RS6 got worse than that on a long run once but he was trying to keep up with me ..............head down run for cover.
