RS6 Front brakes
Anyone fitted RS6 front brakes to their B6 or B7 S4?
A carbon ceramic option on the disc will be nice (even if it is approx £2.5k per disc). But AP racing and Brembo do offer other carbon options if you mount the RS6 caliper to the B7 RS4 bell....
ANyone tried this or I am going to be the first?

RE: Re: RS6 Front brakes
I've gone for the complete B7 RS4 setup, disks and calipers with braided lines. A cost effective option given the price of ceramics and that Stoptech were wanting to charge £5k+ for front and rear upgrade.
Approx. £1500 including fitting for the fronts, now trying to devise a way to get the rears on a B6 as it does not have the trapeoidal suspension that B7 has which the RS4 rears would automatically fit on to.

Have you had to use any spacers ?? what wheels are you running ?
Re: RE: Re: RS6 Front brakes
Running 19" Sportecs at present, haven't tried the Avus wheels back on but I am told I can without spacers, however I know others have run Avus wheels plus 5mm spacers.NotNormal wrote:Have you any picture of yours fitted ??P_G wrote:I've gone for the complete B7 RS4 setup, disks and calipers with braided lines. That look great
I also was told (NOT by quattronic's) by a Tuner that i'd not need spacer's too ........ alas this isn't the case.
With the std wheel i need 10mm spacers to clear the caliper - tried the 5mm but not joy .
