Definitely up for a South West meet ... but out of the country on 18th Feb. Good for 25th if 18th doesn't work out.

Do we know if Leon's imola rocket is going to be back from Banbury by the 18th?! Can't wait to see it in action!

£180 sounds a bit steep for a cruise control fit - IIRC it's only about a £40 part and I don't think DIY fitting is difficult.

Leon - will your car be back from MRC before Sunday? If not shall we reschedule as I am sure we all want to take a peek at the MRC500 beast when its finished

I collect it tomorrow and I will drive back early sunday morning to show my face. Can we have a final confirmation of who is going to be there, times etc?

Apologies guys, but I'm going to have to pull out of the SW forum meet on Sunday. My second car, a track prepared VW Scirocco, is in need of some TLC before its MoT on Monday having just undergone a full 2.0 litre conversion last weekend!

Gutted, as would have liked to have had a ride in the Imola Rocket and meet some other forum members in person with their cars! Hope you have a good time at the meet, should be a good laugh. I look forward to joining you at the next SW meet, hopefully sometime in the near future.

Grrr... I am still in Banbury, for me to make 11am I would have to leave at 8am... on a Sunday is madness. A few people have pulled out. I will obv be passing the area anyway, just later in the day, if everyone PM's me their number I will txt estimated time when I am passing through - HEAR my car - its an experience in itself.

Sorry didnt make it... ended up staying in Banbury... up for another one soon - even to make this a regular thing (pick a night of the week?) - we could always meet up with the boys from www.sw-pc.com - they get together in our area fairly regulary. Never been, but be glad to if someone else wants to come along? I will find out when the next meet is.

Nah - an older crowd. Actually quite mixed. Yes they like their stickers, and evos... but the core/club admin is a very mature crowd. It just gives an atmosphere... the more of us there are the better. Next meet is at Exeter Services on the 11th of March. I will be going along.

If a few are up for it then i may pop along, as would have just had the MRC magic done by then.

Good to meet Si and Mockenrue on Sunday btw hopefully will get to meet a few more from here soon.
