I'm Now in the "Milltek Gang"

Post by RSVI » Fri Feb 16, 2007 10:57 pm

After picking it up last night I couldn't wait to get it fitted.

Less than 24 Hrs and it's on the car :D

Nice! ! !

Made an excuse to pop into town to get food tonight, 1hr 15 Min's later i got back.

Towns only 10 Min's away ;)

Before with the std exhaust i thought it sounded nice.

Now it definitely sounds like a WW2 plane.

Looking forward to May/June when i get the Stage 1 done. Shhh....don't tell her ;)

Wish i wasn't working tomorrow now :( I hear there's a piston-heads tunnel run in London.

You really are a kid!!
Ive only got the little brother to your car, the S6 V8 (RS6 planned...soon) but with a Miltek exhaust. Your right about the sound...its incredible, gives it a very nice thunderous sound to the car. I would have thought there wasnt much in it though compared to the standard set up on the RS6, every RS6 Ive heard is very very nice.

Well done chap. Any excuse to drive with the window down in a tunnel - I haven't stopped being so smug since!

I've heard and had the cone types put an oil film over the maf but wasn't aware this problem existed with the panel replacements.

What do people recommend?

Or keep it std?

Cat back exhaust.

Idle and slow pull away is normal ish.

Foot down is LOVERLY :D

Full system is a summer job fingers crossed.

When first fitted and turned the lady over the volume sounded normal. My first impressions were a bit disappointed.

Now when i drive, the windows have got to be down to hear the melody :D
