I've been trying to book into the hotel since yesterday afternoon, a colleague in Germany has called twice and each time the person answering the phone has been driving and said to send an email with booking details wich they would respond to this evening but no reply as yet....

well done Dunc thanks for booking.

Has anyone managed to get covered insurance-wise for the 'ring? This is my main concern. I'm away at present so can't check my privilege policy but I can guess they specifically exclude 'one way toll roads'!

I have just rung Carole Nash (UR policy) - no problem there and also Liverpool Victoria (s3 policy) and they said there are no exclusions for the Ring. Liv Victoria even rang the underwriter whilst i was on the line when I pressed them for confirmation...

Dunc I can't remember now what L&V's policy is - does this apply to new policies or just current ones before all the nonsense about mods came in?

Hi, not posted on here before but have seen the post by Doug on the S2 Forum and am really up for a trip to the ring (I'm a ring virin so to speak!). Just finalising a few details before I book accomodation and ferry etc. but hope to have a car full.

Just sorting numbers out for this and then going to book it up. Breakdown cover and insurance abroad are sorted but no insurance on the ring so it's going to be driving miss daisy rather than time attack!

Perhaps a list of who is going and what they'll be taking? I'm bringing the S2.

Already booked up a trip for the end of July with some friends but keen to get out on the forum trip too. Will hopefully book with Andy (see post above) sometime next week after we've finalised some of the details / numbers.

I am nervously looking at my calendar debating on this one... I think I can make it, will seriously consider over the next few days and hope to book shortly after.

My Mrs would want to come, anyone else got a lady with them or is that just a bad idea?

I would say have a few UK trackdays under your belt before going to the ring.

Lads trip Leon ;)
