Thanks fil, the exhaust does look std but i've asked them the question any way.

If it turns out to be a Milltek or likes of, in good condition and a good price i may help you with your S4 parts as a way of saying thanks.

Fingers crossed.

Looks like a few parts have been robbed already.... I'd be interested in the wheels.

I tried earlier and the guy seamed to think it wasn't being broke for parts. Told me to phone the other number.

Grizz, if you get any joy and you're not interested in the exhaust could you make an enquiry for me and let me know what it is and the price please.

Edited.......

Just spoke to a Rob who said the exhaust tips were black and oval. My guess is they're std and the 600 bhp was meant to be 500 bhp.

He also he thinks they are waiting instruction from the insurance company on what to do with it. (I'm going to phone in 10 Min's and pretend to be the insurance company and tell them to deliver it back to an address....... MINE :D :D )

Waiting to be corrected and I'm on the look out for an exhaust :D

Don't call them on the rs6 as they are not sure if it's going to be salvage or for repair as the insurance company have not been to look at it yet . TBH i cant see it beeing for spares as the damage is not that bad and it's a 40k car .

After initially looking at the posted images of the Plus, I thought it may be worth buying and repairing. I was thinking along the lines of replacement front wings, bumper and bonnet, plus airbag modules. However, on closer examination of the O/S view, the drivers door seems out of alignment, which makes me think the A post may also have moved. There's no way of knowing on the photo's what damage there is to the inner wings and engine / gearbox mountings or the engine itself.

It is a real shame to see this vehicle in the state it is, but would it be economical to repair or is it scrap? The info sheet on the dealers site mentions there are no keys - is it a stolen recovered, if so was it given a beasting before being crashed,,,,hmmmm.

Ask your self "why didn't the insurance company repair it?"

Surely it would be in the insurance companies interest to repair rather than pay out what ever to replace.

Think it's going to cost a few qiud to repair.
