Fitting RS4 Brushed-Alu Door Surrounds?

Post by ZeroK66 » Fri Feb 09, 2007 1:45 am

Hi Guys,

I really think to finish off the look of my car I need the brushed alu door surrounds on my car. What is involved in fitting these? I believe they cost an arm and a leg? Anyone got a cheap source... Woody? :P

See this:

Can anyone photoshop my car here to have them?

They are very expensive, at least in S4. I have couple RS4 rear door trims for sale, I don't need those. The long surrounding over the windows costs 270€ in Germany.

duh , sorry i've got mirrors ,,,,, I've got the alloy trim from 4 rs4 door's . To fit it you have to strip the door back to a shell , the trim is riveted on from the inside , it'll take about 1hr a door. g

And for changing the longest trim you have to remove the rear side window. And that is glued ;) There are rivets under the glass.

Isn't the trim Zero is talking about fitted to the roof and the doors?

He needs for a saloon, not an estate
