Broken rear spring

Post by SimonS4MTM » Mon Feb 05, 2007 10:51 am

Hi all

I have a broken rear spring. H&R coilovers and i think the springs are H&R or Eibach.

Anyone know the best place to source some replacements and how much dosh I am looking at?

No :) I reckon it will be of interest to anyone with H&R.

try: http://www.mstuning.co.uk/ UK H&R importer, most helpful.

I need to see if I already have Eibach springs, but what is the general opinion of these?

Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs

or

Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs

I think front and rear are different on coilovers to normal. I would say try and get a part number off the current rear springs and try and get a new pair the same.

Was the people David linked above any good?

Mine have 2 springs on the back, a smaller one below. I assume this is to make the system more compliant. All the springs have part numbers on from memory.

I'll take another look this evening then.

Part numbers not possible though as they are rusted like a rusty thing.
