This is my first post to this forum.
I have read with interest the discussions on Hispec brakes for the S4 and yesterday spent the day with them whilst them measured up and made a kit for the S2 which is now fitted to my car - using monster 4 pots.
Just a couple of questions really:
They used a couple of shims to get the centre (disc in caliper body) dead on, is this the same on the S4?
When I got home (200 miles up the M25 and M1) my discs were really hot (not glowing but very hot to touch) should I expect this as I hardly used the brakes as they still need to bed in before I use them in ernest. I'm putting it down to a bit of drag as they are new. You could spin the hub with your hand when they fitted them so there isn't that much drag.
Anyone with Hispec experience care to help me out?
