Advice needed gents....hopefully having 4x toyos fitted this friday. Will this cause any problems on the RR x2 as the tyres have not yet been run in, or:

a) do I drive around all day friday and into the early hours of Saturday at excessive/normal speeds to have these run in for Saturday morning [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

b) Don't have have these fitted until after the RR

c) shouldn't be a problem running new tyres on a RR

To be honest Turk mate, a rolling road presents the most tortuous event a car ever gets (save for trackdays) - the heat is always a problem, and the wear on tyres can be immense considering the timeframe - it's all about friction and grip to the rollers, so my humble advice would be to wait till after the RR for your tyre change if you can [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Andiroo...cheers mate. Sound advice, i'll leave the change until after the event. I'm currently at the bare legal minumum tread wise on the current set, hopefully this will not cause a problem on the RR?
