RS6 Owners

Post by Dave » Mon Jan 06, 2003 3:06 pm

I have a RS6 Avant in Daytona Grey.
Had the optional drilled discs, folding mirrors and tracker horison. In the Uk the cars come as standard with the Sat Nav+, TV, 6 CD changer, recaro leather seats with piping and the 5 spoke 19" alloys.

I have been absolutly delighted with the car (had an Audi S6 Saloon before). It certainly is one hell of a stealth machine Image

Would be interested in hearing your opinion's on your cars Image
All the best

Just hit 59k miles in the Sportec RS460, now looking at an everday car as I want to strip her out Image

Any RS6 saloons for sale in Noggy Blue Dave? or is there a waiting/order list?

Sportec RS550 sounds cool, especially with the 20'alloys Image

Waiting lists for RS6 currently at 6 months from order date, possible to get one quicker for a £7000 premium.

I like the sportec conversion, but am edging towards Abt.. just love the quad exhaust and 505bhp chip!!

Short term it looks like a 2nd hand saloon, obviously not Noggy Blue , will have to see what crops up in the market.

The Abt does sound nice Dave but do they do the 505bhp upgrade yet? Just that their website seems to indicate that it is planned, so maybe not yet available

Good luck and hope to touch base with you soon

Yea, I spoke with their sales manager today.. they have done two cars so far (one of them the MD of Audi Uk (Kevin Rose?)). They chip the engine to 505bhp/615Nm, chip the tiptronic gearbox and remove the speed limiter. It takes 3 days apparantly and can be done immediatly.

I have also asked for the quad exhaust.. this is not quite ready yet. I have asked for all the work to be done at once, so he is going to give me a ring when it is ready.

Cheers
Dave
