Having lived in Scandinavia, and having driven Volvo and Saab for years I prefer to drive with headlights on even in daylight. I can of course do this manually, but would prefer to have the lights on whenever the ignition is on.
Anyone know if there is an easy way to swap fuses or similar to achieve this??

RE: Daylight running lights
Depends on the model and year - on my 2006 RS4 DRL is just a case of turning the DRL switch to on (I did recode it because I wanted the rear lights as well as the front lights on).

On the B7 A4/S4/RS4 with certain options (I think you have to have bi-xenon headlamps) there is a small switch just to the left of the main lighting switch that enables/disables DRL.Daveperc wrote:What's a DRL switch - presumably you don't just mean turning the lights on - cos I figured that bit!!
UK cars are coded to have only the front DRLs on but it's a simple matter with VAG-COM to change this so the rear lights come on as well.
