New floor mats

Post by B9Boy » Sun Dec 31, 2006 5:59 pm

Anyone know where I can get some new car mats from?

Mine have a bobbled section on the drivers floor mat but the passenger one is plain. I have just seen Bobs gallery for his RS6+ and he has a wicked set of RS6 logo mats 8) . Any ideas where Id get some like that??

thanks for that Steve, Ive sent Sabine an email this morning so look forward to hearing back from her with options etc. Are these the same ones as Bob has fitted to his car?

Not exactly the same as Bobs as Edcase made the template for these for the RHD RS6. A lot of the guys in the RS4 B7 forum have gone for these mats instead of Audi as the quality is excellent yet £100 instead of £400, I dont think you can now buy RS6 branded mats from Audi!?

They are very good quality and mine still look as new as the day I bought so I can vouch for durability and ease of cleaning through summer and winter (including a very muddy weekend at the WRC). The only slight niggle at the time was the passenger footwell mat didnt quite sit correctly, but it soon naturally dropped into shape.

Mine are OEM, but if/when I ever buy again, (Ie not have them included which I will bloody well expect if I go for the new RS6) I'll certainly go the Sabine route, in terms of looks they are very close to original. Mine are 'shaped' however, as if made from a stiffened material that obviously means they are tailored to fit the footwells. Ie they dont lie flat when you take them out... If the car ever comes out of the garage I'll take some pics to show what I mean. I think the repro ones do lie flat, hence taking a while to 'settle in' perhaps. Either way these are the way to go, there are other companies making them but they don't get the logo to look OEM as Sabine's ones do. Happy New Year everyone!

I emailed her recently and had the reply that she can't supply RHD mats. Would be interested to see what the response is this time.

Got a reply from her today with text below
"Hi, I can deliver RS6 mats for you.
very high quality, only the passenger mat don't fit exactly, I heard.
If you want a set, I can do a "buy it now" offer at ebay and you can pay
with paypal, so you are safe.
We have a delivery time from about 2-3 weeks.
Let me know which border colour do you want to have, and how many logos
(only into front mats or front and rear mats).

Price for one set with logos into front mats: 129,00 Euro plus 20,00
Euro for shipping.
logos into the rear mats cost 30,00 Euro extra.

best regards,
Sabine Holzke"

She sent me some pics of them aswell which I can upload if someone can tell me how I do that?!?

Click "post reply" at the bottom left hand corner and it gives you the option of an attachment... just watch the file and picture size. Ignore most of the error messages you get though, as sometimes they are a red-herring.

You could try and email Sabine and say that you heard of her stuff from this forum, and last time we bought we got logo's in the rear mats for free and your looking for the same deal if she's willing!?

Hi RSVI,

Ironically enough I sent an email off earlier to ask her what discount we could get for more than 1 set so will let you know what gets said.
