Ceramic Coated Manifolds

Post by GrahamS4 » Sun Dec 17, 2006 6:41 pm

There has been a fair bit of talk (certainly in the B5 S4 section) about tubular maifolds, ceramic coated manifold etc.

Thought I would share for those that didn't see it in the October '06 issure of Audi Driver the small article on www.rsfabrications.com.

Based in Banbury the article mentions manifolds recently constructed for a 620PS RS4.

Stainless steel ceramic coated manifolds for £1350 + vat.

They do other stuff too, but this isn't an ad. just a tip off for those that might not be aware and may find it of use.

I posted because it was topical and also partly because of what you say above - if it isn't the MRC supplier, given the location, perhaps it's something they may wish to investigate!

I'd be surprised if someone on here can't identify the car.

The RS4 manifolds don't seem to be on the website. There is one pic in the magazine though.

Graham, these Guys look like they really know their stuff and one of the founders has an impresive track record.

The fabricators art...

Nice one!

Pretty sure these are the guys that MRC use for their fabbing needs anyway. A chap in one of those vans normally turns up
on the days I am lurking around their premises.
