Shell V-Power ??

Post by Jan » Thu May 22, 2003 8:00 pm

Hi,
has anybody tried this fuel (100 Octane)? Optimax is no longer available in germany. But it's expensive, I think they will have to reduce the price to sell it.
What's that?

Having just spent 2 weeks in Italy I never saw better than 95 octane. What do Ferrari's use?
Standard RS4 (is it the only standard one left?)

Ferraris and all other "fast" cars use V-Power which is 99oct here in Italy. Unfortunately there are not tons of Shell stations here so you have to know where to look

Maybe, but who wants to talk to S-drivers?

Well, cheaper is better, the last time I checked it was 10 ct more than super plus (98), don't think that there would be many people to buy it. Only porsche and some crazy RS boys.
What's that?

You (German drivers) can check the prices via Internet:

I have tried it. I always use it if possible. But I guess if you car is not mapped for 99 it won't do all the good it's supposed to.
