Oil filter

I was doing a mid interval oil change today and made the fatal and rather school boy mistake of draining the oil before locating the oil filter...I should know better I know. :oops:

Where the hell is it..? I could not find it for love nor money....

Just beside the throttle body it is...

Is it just an element that goes into a canister mounted on the engine?

If it is then just like on my BMW...
