Leon

Have you driven Mihnea's car so you have an idea of what to expect the power to feel like?

No I have not... he is not about much. From what I hear it is absolutely mental. I know he did not have an ABS unit(No diff lock) & its pre-facelift and so no ESP - so must have been a real handful. Dougs description was it is difficult to even keep in a straight line! :woot:

No news yet... still waiting on parts... the weekend deadline draws ever near as does Christmas. Doug has assured me I will have the car soon - but its all down to clutch, alternator & Manifolds :cry:
Facelift Imola S4 | Cust K04's, Tubular Manifolds, 3" DPs->2.75" Catback | FMIC | PSS9 Coilovers + ARB's | Brembo 8-Pots | SS + DTS | 5??HP/475lbs/ft | 3.06S FATS on S4 Box

Sold: A4 (B5) 2.8 Quattro | Ivory Pearl
Melted: Corrado - IHI 1.8t: 343BHP

I hope you like it after speding so much money on it, having already said the car feels old and not so composed the extra power will highlight it's failings.

Should be a blast to drive but to live with could get tiring

what a load of bo***cks, i have a pre- facelift with 470 bhp, and i never get tired of taking on brand new porches and m3's who cant believe they have been done by a 6 year old s4. and yes its not the latest shape or interior but who gives a monkeys chuff with 500+ bhp on tap, go for it zero and enjoy
noggy blue s4, mildly modded

Calm down dude. He didnt mean it the way your thinking!!
:FIREdevil:
Its just that ZeroK66 posted that the car was looking a bit dated (in his opinion not ours) and would poss like something newer, Then went and spent 10k on massive power mods.
There is no need to be such a :knob: with your post

I'll have a blast on that Paul... :smile_smoking:

And may i add how utterly delightful it is to see a special guest appearance of the (sadly underused) "knob" emoticon - an elusive creature this; rarely seen, and glimpsed so infrequently as to cause awe and wonder amongst startled onlookers - with that cheeky (and just a tad angry) looking face, resplendent in a verdant green hue.....

Ahh joy!.... the knob emoticon again - twice in one thread no less!

Incidentally i attempted to re-introduce the fledgling knob-emoticon back into the wild last week in another thread; sadly the attempt failed - it died of misunderstanding...hopefully this time we will have the determination to nurture this rare creature back to a thriving and abundant level of visibility on the forum, or something.

Now all we need to do is think of a way to bring :knob:s back into ZeroKKKKKKKKKKKKK66's (Thought he should change it to this to match his new gearchange style) MRC thread, will he be having any :knob:s fitted - of any description???
