Last three cars and next one ?

Bit of fun, newest first:

Audi S4 - had it 18 months, love it
Audi A4 1.8T Sport - good reliable car, got me into Audi's
Toyota Avensis (2.0CDX, but still, there's no excuse)

Next one: B6 RS4 when it comes out (two years or so?)

Well my life's boring, cos I'm on my first car, a '96 Mini Cooper Si. Sorted, but [img]images/graemlins/piss.gif[/img] in the eyes of you lot.
As for the old man:
Had a BMW 735i (manual - VERY rare), then a Jag 3.2 straight six XJ Sport (manual), then the A8 4.2 Quattro Sport (SORTED), now running an X-reg RS4. Hmmmm, I like the way this is going - more power every time, and gradually getting faster and narlier. What's next? RS6? We'll see what I can talk the bugger into [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

M reg Audi RS2 - owned since February. Fantastic car! My favourite one so far.

W reg Nissan Almera - we'd owned it 3 years but I got it as my car when he got his S3 last Sept

F reg Nissan Bluebird - bought in 1995 and passed it on to my Dad when I took over the Almera. I really loved that car - got 7 years cheap and reliable motoring. I'll always have a soft spot for her.

What next - who knows? Hope I can keep the RS2 going for a good few years.

Brown Mini 998cc (38bhp top speed indicated 87mph)
Cavalier Gsi2000 (150 bhp top speed indicated 141mph)
Audi A4 2.8Q (197bhp top speed unknown)
Audi S4 (265bhp top speed unknown)

I managed to hit top end in my first two cars, never managed it in the Audis, so I'm either getting old and sensible or my cars are getting faster. [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Next car? - probably RS4, 996/3 or M5 [img]images/graemlins/boots.gif[/img]

These are all the cars I have ever owned....

Ford Escort 1.3 - W reg, 'Fix Once, Repair Daily'
Ex-Police Senator 3.0i 24v - Nice on the motorway [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
S2 - Slighly modded 335bhp [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
RS4 - Love it [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img].

What's next? Dunno, but if you plot a graph of the cars above, it's gonna have to be pretty fecking good. Would have loved an RSR, but alas it appears that it will never hit the forecourts. Maybe the next RS4, or maybe an RS Nuvolari..... Hope to keep the RS4 for as long as possible.

My list goes as such :

Next Car : V6 TT
Present : RS6 Avant (505bhp)
Previous : Audi S6 Saloon (4.2 V8 340bhp)
Previous : Volvo V40 T4 (200bhp) [img]images/graemlins/sleeping_2.gif[/img]

And I too want to end up with the B6 RS4. the TT is a bit of a stop gap really and I'm hoping that it won't depreciate too much. They hold their value well at the moment.

Previous Mondeo V6 ghia X - company car
opted out for 1999 S4 - superb car
2000 got RS4 - present

trouble was it wasnt as quick low down the revs as the S4 so I got the speed freak modding bug [img]images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

As for what next, well find me something as good all round as the RS and I will consider it

until then I can see me keeping what I have

Maybe the new RS4, if Audi dont feck it up and put the wrong engine in it [img]images/graemlins/rocketwhore.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/<beep>_you.gif[/img]
