This will give you a decent 340-350 BHP and lots of torque.
I think Minhea means 440 - 450bhp! I would want more than 30 bhp over a stage 1 remap for £5k!
He's referring to the S3 not S4!!!

ZeroK66 - good luck with it, seems like it's waayy too late to discuss IF you should go for it, looks like work has already started. Lets face it, car's are rarely, if ever an investment & so you should enjoy being in it :) I'm assuming if you've talked to MRC about all this work, then you'll have discussed all the other upgrades which most would recommend in order to cope with the power.

me? I can't wait to see the power figures, it'll be interesting to see how it compares with the Garrett conversion & the RS6 hybrid route. It's a big wedge to spend but I'm sure you'll grin from ear to ear!.

Mihnea - at what point to transmission & clutch troubles start outweighing the extra power? 700bhp would be great but only really if it's usable. Will we see the big tiptronic boxes making a show to handle the torque - or better... DSG :)

Engine is out - still waiting on Manifolds, expected in yesterday/today. MRC hope to have the car driveable on Sunday and then I return for mapping next weekend... will have to see as they are waiting on a few bits yet.

Possitively giddy! But trying to keep myself calm so I am not disappointed if it is not ready. Been waiting nearly 5-7 weeks on parts now, they better be in!

Well in Leon, just seen this thread for first time... thats a bargain for that level of performance... especially if you factor in the high levels of depreciation of the vast majority of performance cars.

Hate to say it SteveH, but your avatar looks like a VW Beetle. You need to do something with the aspect ratio!

Sadly no word from MRC... I was supposed to collect today, but not been able to get hold of Doug :( - I assume it is not ready, when Joe was in on Thursday he said to him it would probably not be ready, so I am going on that for now. Will update you when I know more
