So it sounds good but looks bad!

Which facia did you buy? I'm looking to get the FP-05-05 from here http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Stereo_fitt ... udi/A4.htm

Thinking about it I'm going to go for the PC9-410 which uses the RCA's. At the moment your pioneer must be amping the signal and then the adaptor must be removing the amplification level and then the bose is amplifying it, maybe a reason for hiss? However this is exactly what the adaptor was made for so should be ok.

I'm not too far from you so maybe we can compare once i've got it all in, or if you wanna listen before I put it in.

How comes the unit sticks out an inch?

the facia i got was just the end caps, the one you say about FP-05-05 looks like it would set my headunit back a bit, which would look better, but there aint much cable room behind the pioneer!

think it sticks out so far as its that bit bigger than a normal unit.

Cool, thanks for the pics.

How the hell did you get sky sports on there? Are you driving around with a satellite dish on your roof, if so how's it affecting your MPG? ;)

Looks great when the screen is open, hopefully the becker should fit flat, fingers crossed!

Blimey!!! Nice work :)

How hard was it to run the cables to the front, what route did you take? Will be slick when it's all finished.

fil - HELP!

Which lead did you use for the remote power to the Bose Amp? I can get my stereo on but there's no sound, I guess the Bose amp is not being told to switch on, the instructions I have are vauge to say the least!

Also the kit came with an extra Blue/White lead but don't know where to put this!

I'll take some as soon as I can (not with the car right now). It looks great and matches the color scheme/lights the well, iPod integration is very slick.

The only let down is the facia adapters (as everyone says) they are of poor quality, I was going to make something myself so it looks 100% but never got around to it. So there are little gaps eash side of the unit.

The unit does not stick out at all (forwards) though which is great.
