its normally ok..the only slow bit mite be through tooting..but if its early enuf then you shud do it in an hour no probs..maybe even less..just remember tower bridge is only 20MPH and stick to it or they,ll nab you..

Woody, Coming up from southampton! just tapped it in to my sat nav and its saying 76 miles and telling me to go M3,M25,A3 & the A240. Does this sound like the best route? and how long should i allow?

Quick update guys for this Saturday:

So far we have 5 cars definitely gathering at Woodys. Me, Mark B, Fil, H8cak & Tombs.

We have 2 who said they'd be coming but have not PM'd me yet - Misternomer & Quantum John. I don't know if these guys know Woodys address and that's why they havent PM'd., or if they can't make it. Misternomer? Quantum?

Woody, I'll try to make it for 10ish... but I have a feeling it'll be closer to 11ish.

Look forward to learning some stuff

Hi Alps,
I have just pm'd you. I was waiting to confirm whether I was definately going to be picking my car up from AMD on that day and what state it will be in. Hopefully I should know in the next couple of days.

just plumbed it in on tomtom , says 1hr 5mins, plan to leave bang on 9, so traffic permitting should be there @ 10.

never got the laptop 12v car power supply, so dug out my 240v convertor thing

I'm coming down from North London and the AA route planner has timed it at just over an hour

The way I drive right now I'll probably make it to Woodys by sometime early next year

Will try and leave a little earlier me thinks!

Afraid I am not going to get there tomorrow guys.
Will still need to get an MOT for the car so will have to meet everyone at the next spanner sharing.
