I logged channel 002.

My first time was 5.02, and my second time was 5.14.

How does that sound?
Good time, you're just running a map and exhaust aren't you? Still running 17 inch wheels also aren't you?

That's right Mark, plus holes in the airbox.

Well looked after and plenty of tlc.

Were you in the car alone in the car when you did the fats run?

Yes, I was alone. I didn't take anything out however. Also in the dark with lights on, heated rear screen on and air-con on. Plus a 240V power pack to run the laptop 8)

Mine with catback Milltek, AMD map and hole in Airbox gave 5.75secs but I'm also running 18's.

Opening up the Airbox didn't seem to make much of a change in my time if any!

Is that the normal difference for 18's.

I think mine a little slow but I know it is a disadvantage and 19's are even worse.

Have you posted it on the MRC fats page?

Yes, I put it on there earlier. I think I may have made an error with my torque figure though.

Yes I think it does.

Though it appears to have a faster fats time than some other cars with gutted pre-cats

Olie's car was giving slow times which was mainly down to his 19" wheels and Leon is carting his own mobile disco around with hime so I would say your looking good.

Jimbogrey and Shineydave are returning similar times to you and both are standard bar a map.

It's your RS4 bumper scooping up to much air at the front ;)

Did they not find anything wrong with your cam timing when your belt service was done? Some cars are just slower than others. Just lucky or unlucky I guess....

hey :)
yeh 19's defo slowed me down loads!
if i disconnect the battery to clear any stupid ecu rubbish, tb align and do a run then i get 4.75 seconds and full boost practically to 5000rpm with a 100mbar drop to redline then........ if i drive round for a week tootling to work etc. my boost drops to about 15psi max in 3rd gear but i get crazy 30deg timing at redline and still get 4.75 fats. lest boost more timing same fats!
i want k04s to get under 4secs now ;)
