Car wont start!!!

been having problems the last few weeks my RS4 takes a few tries before the engine starts up usually one or two goes later im ok now it wont start at all any help please!!!

Any number of things, how is your battery. Do you have vagcom to check for fault codes?

My car had trouble when cold a few years back, turned out to be coolant temp sensor.

i even get this problem if iv been driving for about an hour and i just park up for 10mins when i try to restart i have to give one or two tries :( i would like to know if this is normal or easy fix as audi charge £100 just to look at the car :(

I think you will find a sensor playing up, have you tried one of the tuners, QST, MRC or AMD, we do not know where you are? What about another dealer? £100 does not sound much to diagnose a problem to me - its probably refundable if you have the remedial work done anyway(and of course its cheaper than a tow in if it breaks down totally!)

Could still be a coolant temp sensor, if it is reading low then the ecu will supply too much fuel and flood the engine.

Not saying it is a coolant sensor, but it is more than likely to be a sensor of sorts.

You need to get it plugged into some diagnostic software.
