(1) Big triangular hole cut out front-side of air-box (+ optional multiple small drilled holes in bottom of air box) - £0

(3) Replace all vacuum hoses (EM to FPR, EM to t-piece to DVs) - £5
(4) Replace Pollen filter - £9
(5) Remove spare wheel from boot - £0 (or £7.95 for a one-use "get you home" tyre inflator kit)
(6) N249 Delete - £1's worth of vacuum hose and a couple of clips
(7) Tighten and/or replace all reachable jubilee clips - £0/few
8) Tweak N75 screw a couple of mm anti-clockwise (when engine is warm) - £0
(9) Take off TBB and clean all the oil and crap out of the throttle body - £0
(10) De-mesh MAF - £0
(11) Give MAF sensor an IPA bath - £5
(12) Get engine warm, unplug ECU....wait 1 minute, re-connect ECU and do a 'proper' TBA using the "key method" - £0
(13) De-fog bumper grilles - £0
(14) De-flap the "other air inlet hole" - £0
(15) After-run mod - £10

How about upgrading the mainbeam to HID for the winter months? Kits off ebay about £80

Alternatively change the dip beam to a snazzy colour (d2s bulbs) for about £35.

Regarding S4tans post above:
I wouldn't do step 13 without putting the proper Canadian grills in place. Leaving a big hole infront of the intercoolers is the best way of getting cool air at them but also leaves them exposed to stones and other debris.

Not helpful when the inside wall of the tyre bursts unfortunatly, has happened twice to me now, both rear tyres one while the car was parked up after I'd just done the tyre pressure's and the other at 15mph thankfully as I pulled away froma set of traffic lights
