There is a limit, or before you know it, you'll be down the golden arches with a set of neons and a bass box thumping away ....... plus beanie

Normal - i was asked if I had dump valves on my car recently - if you lift off at peak boost(as it is about to kick) you will have 1.2 bar of pressure, and the volume of air from the turbo to throttle body to be squeezed through those wee diverter valves.

where's the best place to buy 710 n's and how much?. How do they differ from the standard valves?

Just ordered mine from Vag Parts, not received yet but just over 40 quid for the pair including shipping. No idea about the difference but was recommended.

I had a ......lovely ... :piss: wooshing sound on both my mapped s4's both one side, but not same sides, noticed more on boost,
turned out to be intercooler lower seals ..... oil had swollen the rubber seals and expanded them slightly ....
not a good scenario i reckon ...

Good think my standard intercoolers are going then :P bring on the FMIC.

710n's are simply a more reliable version of the standard S4 units. The S4 ones are quite weak and are prone to failure.
