New car ordered, but want to change the colour

Post by david7m » Tue Nov 14, 2006 4:27 pm

Hi

My brother has ordered a new TT in silver for a March 07 delivery.

He has changed his mind over the colour, emailed them today to confirm black, but has been told that the spec/colour was ordered yesterday and its too late :(

Do you have any advise of what to do next? He has tried CS, but they have been useless .... as expected

Thanks in advance.

Will he not lose his deposit of £1500?

I dont know, has he asked the dealer if he can cancel the order? He should say that he is going to buy one from another dealer if they do not.

Thats complete balls, they will not have started to build the car until Feb so the colour can be changed without issue, sounds like the dealer just cant be bothered.
