Which Alloy Wheels RS6 brake fitment for S4

Clive , phillip, doug, anyone?

Im off to audi ina bit to take a look at any cars on the forecourt with these fitted. See if theyre easier kerbed or not.

Can I have some opinions on whether these wheels suit the S4 or not please?
As well as any info on fitment issues.

Saf look good mate but unfortunately will not fit TT PCD (pitch circle diameter for wheel bolts) = 100 S4 PCD = 112

Just to add

ET is the short form of the German word 'Einpresstiefe' which literally translates as 'insertion depth'.

This is measured in mm. The ET is the standard measurememnt form of the offset if that makes sense.

Offset is the distance between the hub mounting face at the back of the wheel and the wheel's centre line as shown in the above diagram.

Im sure ove seen some of the reps that are 112. Im just worried about the cleareance between the alloy and the callipers (RS6) and the diss (B7 S4).

Am i correct in saying that i need 112 or 100's?

Just came form an audi forecourt and saw some nicer wheel. In stead of the 15 spoke ones pictured above, the new TT has a set of 10 spoke ines, more widly spaced. I like those ones better. But i cant seem to see a pi cof them yet.

Whe i do ill post it up.

Here it is. ITs called the 10 spoke design, but something tells me they are not out yet as reps as i cant find them anywhere.

If found a p co fthese on the audi web site configurator for the new TT.

Theres 2 versions. This one and one with slightly thicker bars, both versions with 10 spoke.

I think im going to have to stick to the MTM reps.

Decided and now in the process of buying some MTM reps. ET35. :) All of them are the same I take it. Also these are 18 inch, so just looking for confiration that they will be fine for fittment with the B& RS4 discs and RS6 callipers.

Also do they have the same finished look to them as the real bimotos. the bimoto originals look more shiney on the pics. Might just be the lighting.

Just asking incase what was quoted was for 19 inch rims. I was on MTM site and they only do 19inch bimotos not small sizes.

Also curious to know why Standard RS4 B5 reps dont allow straight on fittment of the B7 RS4 Discs and RS6 callipers?

Do you know if the 18 inch RS4 reps allow the same brake fittment? B7 RS4 discs, RS6 calipers.

Have you still got the mtm reps on yours mate?

I got them off Paul with pilot sports on. 5-6mm left on them too. He sent me some pics and they look mint. I would have like 225, but they come with 235's. 225's are just cheaper to replace when you get a puncture. Over where I live I have bad luck with tyres. Changed 3 tyres in the last year just to punctures. They dont come cheap either.

Thanks for all the help mate, and to other out there as well. Now all thats left is the brakes.

Saf,

There are a number of RS4 reps out there, which vary widely in quality, exact design, and fitment. I had some, ET35, but the inside of the spokes cleared the calipers by just a "Rizzla paper" (credits to Rollskii for use of this technical term :lol: ). The manufacturing tolerances on these cheaper wheels obviously aren't to the same level as the more expensive ones.

I still have the MTM bimoto reps on mine - same as Paulm's - plenty of clearance and seem to be reasonable quality too. I still have the B6 18s in the garage, which I'm still in two minds about as they look so good and OEM, but they do need 10mm spacers to clear the brakes (ET45).

I prefer the 235/40s as they give a little bit of protection to the rims and a slightly wider track.

I guess I might stick to the 235's then.

Have you got any pics of yours?

As soon as I have them on which should be next week as paul still has to send them off, Ill take some pics and post them.

Cant wait to get the brakes. Have you got a big brake kit on yours as well? RS6? If so some pics would be great so I can see what It will finally look like,
