First RS246 meet - High Wycombe 3rd Feb

Post by Thorney » Mon Jan 20, 2003 2:11 pm

Time - 7pm (prompt if we can do it)

Seems like quite a few are keen on High Wycombe town with a Chinese meal.

Map to venue:

http://www.multimap.co.uk/map/browse.cg ... ch=hp136la

Instructions:

Parking will be at my office carpark which can only be accessed by shuttered door. The building is called Prospect House and is situate opposite a pedestrian crossing. Just after the crossing (assuming you are driving up hill) are the garage doors. When you arrive turn into the layby next to the building and ring 07718 585 484 and I'll open them up.

I need to book the restaurant so how many are definantly coming and what time? I'll assume 7.30pm.

Numbers please?

Thanks for organising this

But, as it's 2+ hrs each way I don't think I'll be able to make it. You never know though I might have to be at the Langley office that day . I'll see what I can do.

Jeeze hotels in High Wycombe?

You could stay over the road at the Flint Cottage but I doubt you get out alive (had a heavily decorated ex-Para run it and he quit after 3 months cos he couldn't stand the aggro ).

There is a Holiday Inn at the M40 junction and if we're on a bender I'll leave my car in the office garage and join you Same applies to anyone else for that matter

Sounds like I might be risking my virginity if I say yes!! Holiday Inn sounds like a good idea.

OK, change of tack then.

Inaugural RS246 meet is now a Chinese meal followed by lager festooned drinking malarky.

Any one driving can leave car in aforementioned carpark where it will be nice and safe (mind you, no liability accepted blah blah blah) Holiday Inn up the road would be best bet for accomodation. Plenty of pubs to choose from and several more we should avoid

No toothpaste drinks - I promise

Its a bit like hearding cats this innit?
