Somone must buy them, they are unlikely to be destroyed.....unless they keep them as executive cars and run them into the ground...even then, someone would want a high miler for a project....

The RS6's were not sold, Audi Uk employees were using them. The cars were eventually destroyed, with parts returned to Audi AG as test mules...

Ben , that would not surprise me for BMW, I hate the company, I loved my M3 but couldn't stand staying with them.

The fact that the RS's are driven hard from day one and still perform should be a huge plus for us pvt owners. (abused as you put it). I am relactant to to hit the rev limter everytime especially after 3rd gear for obvious reasons, but its good to know if thats that they way you wish to drive then the mechanics are up to the task.

Are the odo's still connected? It would be great feedback if you Audi experience junkies could let us know at what mileage the abused units may mysteriously dissapear?
