But presuming its true, let me address one ridiculous claim you've made. I don't know how it is in the UK, but the idea that the RS4 could be mistaken for an A4 entry level luxury car is patently insane. In Greenwich, CT, where I work and play, my RS4 engenders more attention than every car that passes through that town, which if you know anything about the area includes Bentleys, Ferrarris, Porsches, Astin Martins, Lotuses, Mercedes, BMW, etc. I <beep> you not.
Outside of Greenwich I've taken this car up to Maine, a place that is not the center of the luxury world in the US. It never stops, I've had more questions and comments on this car than I've ever seen, so much so that my wife has even started to complain about it.
So unless you live in a neighborhood where everyone owns the RS4 (impossible), you're not making much sense.
Btw, I can't even count the number of 911 and M3 owners that have personally approached me while I wait parked in my RS4 to inquire or congradulate me on the car.
Enjoy your V8 btw (if you're for real). They are nice cars, although I don't htink they look better. Their rims look beat compared to the RS4, and their rear tail lights are highly questionable. I think the Maseratis look a lot better, and yes they too are a dime a dozen in Greenwich...... but not the RS4
